Everything you probably want to know before getting in touch.

byHaddock provides remote business support: the admin, operations and data work that's essential but time-consuming. That covers inbox and diary management, document and file organisation, data entry and reporting (including Power BI dashboards), process improvement, project coordination, invoice processing, and light social media and comms support. If something is eating your time and headspace, it's probably something I can take off your plate.
byHaddock works on a retained hours basis. You agree a number of hours per month and I use them where you need them. For one-off projects, I'll scope and price upfront so there are no surprises. Get in touch and we can discuss what makes sense for your situation.
Fully remote. I work with clients across the UK via email, shared platforms and messaging. Not available for on-site visits.
Mostly email and messaging. I work async, which means I'm not on calls throughout the day. This is actually better for focused work. We'll agree a communication method that suits you at the start. I provide regular updates and flag anything that needs your input, so you're always in the loop without it becoming another thing to manage.
Microsoft 365 (including Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), Power BI, Google Workspace, Xero (basic), Zoom, most CRM and HR platforms. I pick up new systems quickly. If you use something not on that list, ask and we can discuss.
A few things. I don't do full accountancy or bookkeeping (I can handle the admin around it, but I'm not an accountant). I don't do on-site work. And I prefer to keep calls and meetings to a minimum. I'm much more effective on tasks than in meetings. If you need someone available on the phone throughout the day, byHaddock probably isn't the right fit.
It depends on current availability. Get in touch and I'll give you an honest answer. For smaller pieces of work I can often start within a week or two. For ongoing retained support, we'd agree a start date that works for both of us.
For retained work, a minimum of 5 hours per month. For one-off projects, it depends on the scope. I don't tie people into long contracts. If it's not working, we talk about it. Simple as that.
If you're spending time on admin, data, or operational tasks that aren't your core skill, and that time is costing you more than it would cost to outsource it, then it's probably worth a conversation. Drop me a message and we'll figure it out together. No hard sell, no commitment required.

just ask.

If something isn't covered here, drop me a message. I'll give you a straight answer.
